For 15 years, Saks Fifth Avenue has held this charity shopping weekend and since then, has raised over $35 million for cancer research. Join Saks Fifth Avenue stores nationwide (North Star Mall location for us) as we celebrate the launch of Key To The Cure! During this shopping weekend (october 16th-19th), 2% of participating vendor sales will be donated to Cancer Therapy & Research Center (CTRC) at the UT Health Science Center. Not to mention, you’ll be able to get your hands on the coveted limited edition Rag & Bone Key To The Cure tee and let me tell you THEY ARE ALMOST SOLD OUT!

We had the privilege of styling theses fabulous tees and by the end of the whole thing, none of us wanted to give them back. They are super soft, hug in all the right places but somehow don’t cling too closely, feel too small or bind in any way. A true “closet favorite” in the making for sure.

100% of the proceeds from the limited edition Rag & Bone Key To The Cure tee will be donated to Cancer Therapy & Research Center (CTRC) at the UT Health Science Center benefiting charitable programs dedicated to finding new detection methods, better treatments and eventual cures for women’s cancers.

In addition to the partnership for the annual Key To The Cure campaign, Saks Fifth Avenue will sell exclusive merchandise inspired by notable Saturday Night Live characters from seven New York designers. These items, curated by Saturday Night Live’s Emmy-nominated costume designer Tom Broecker, will be available in Saks Fifth Avenue’s New York flagship store and (for us San Antonian’s) on saks.com during the Key To The Cure shopping weekend, October 16th – 19th. The must see merchandise includes Mango’s shorts as interpreted by Alexander Wang, The Nerds outfit as interpreted by Alice + Olivia, a dress fit for The Californians as interpreted by Diane von Furstenberg, Spartans Cheerleading uniforms as interpreted by Elizabeth and James, hats fit for The Coneheads as interpreted by Eugenia Kim, Mary Katherine Gallagher’s school uniform as interpreted by rag & bone, and Gilly’s dress as interpreted by Suno.

Burgundy Woods has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music/Music Industries from the University of the Incarnate Word and a Design & Trend Forecasting degree from The Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising (FIDM) in Los Angeles. She began her career in Hollywood, California, where she worked for major record labels such as Virgin Records, Interscope Records, EMI Music and Capitol Records. Later after attaining her fashion degree, she was discovered by MySpace, Inc. and was immediately hired to be their Fashion Curator starring and producing her show THE B-SPOT Fashion & Trends on their Fashion & Shopping channel. During this time, online media was in its infancy. She and her colleagues contributed to the invention and molding of the online fashion media industry. Many of the stylized ideas and tools that were launched through these platforms are still used to this day as industry standards for online fashion media. Later, with her extensive experience in developing online fashion media, she continued the show independently and has successfully rebranded THE B-SPOT into Style Lush TV online fashion network. Now, with over eight professional years in online fashion media and trend forecasting, she continues to pioneer, maneuver and develop her industry. She is currently the Senior Digital Fashion Editor, On Camera Fashion Personality and Senior Video Producer for Style Lush TV. She is also the President of the Texas Fashion Industry Initiative.
