Note from the Style Director
Im incredibly proud to present our first Guest Fashion Blogger of the year. Her name is Jeanelly Concepcion and she is without a doubt a Style Lush TV favorite. This girl has been with Style Lush from the beginning. Even before we launched, Jeanelly was all over town attending the same fashion events and parties as us, showing true passion for not only fashion but our city, so it just feels natural to feature her, her diverse style and of course, her fashion blog. Check out her featured blog for Style Lush TV below and follow her and her social media!  -Burg\

“Hi everybody! I’m Jeanelly of The Fashion Lotus! I started the blog 2 years ago when I moved to San Antonio from Puerto Rico. The purpose was just to post outfits I’d put together and style inspiration to share with my close friends. They would ask for my opinion on what to wear for different events, restaurants or even out Girl’s Night Out, so The Fashion Lotus was born.

Why Lotus? This flower grows in the muddy swamp waters and is incredibly beautiful! My goal is to show that you can look and feel beautiful without having to spend a lot. I do encourage the occasional investment piece, but for the most part I truly believe that you can style any outfit and look like a million bucks even if you’re on a budget. I like styling trendy pieces with timeless ones. Fast Fashion is great, but individuality is so important when defining your style. My style is highly influenced by New York Street Style, as I grew up in the city, and I stay true to myself. Sometimes I feel sexy, sometimes ultra feminine and other times daring. As long I feel confident, I feel like I can rock a pair of jeans and a t-shirt, and that’s the message that I want to share with my viewers. Confidence is your best accessory!”

Now, with over nine professional years in online fashion media and trend forecasting, she continues to pioneer, maneuver and develop her industry.
