In a truly unbelievable red carpet exhibition, all the high fashion trendsetters of San Antonio stepped out for a night on the town! On Friday, May 15th, The Central Library, celebrated it’s 20th Anniversary and all of the most stylish supporters, politicians, local celebrities and socialites were there to light up the night with their incredible fashion sense. Everyone was so inspired, as they dashed and swayed from friend to friend, kissing cheeks, cocktails in hand. It truly was the most incredible high fashion style watching Style Lush TV has had the pleasure of capturing so far.

The evening was beautiful. White and orange tablescapes glowed  from the decor’s candlelight and wonderful music filled the library halls as many took part in the colorful celebration. It’s hard to believe that this building was once considered such a controversial style statement. Now, it stands as one of the most important elements of our skyline and is celebrated for it’s one-of-a-kind color and structure.

I personally, was beaming with excitement as my eyes darted all across the room. Jean Paul Gaultier to the left of me. Oscar de la Renta to the right. It was such a pleasure to see San Antonio dawning the glorious pieces from our professional runways. The biggest fashion trends of the evening included saturated color, prints, beading, embroidery and of course, white. Long A-line skirts, upscale sheath dresses and one-piece cape tops were just a few items that caught our style radars. It was such an exciting array of style. For the men, bow ties, gingham shirts and contrasting pocket squares were favorites and of course, where would San Antonio style be without the traidtional Guayabera and pop of color?
