Style Lush New York shares The Winter Palace at Saks!

Happy Holidays everyone. Well, my 2016 travels for work have already started and I’ve brought back some inspiration for your holiday style statements this season. One of my favorite things to do online every year is cyber stalk the window displays of Manhattan, but this year, I got to see them in person, which was a really nice treat. To my mother and me, it isn’t the holidays until the window displays of New York City come to life and this year, Saks Fifth Avenue outdid themselves! The color scheme? Blue, White and Sparkle. The vibe? Glamour and Opulence. It truly was an unbelievably gorgeous collection so I found it hard to name just 10 trends, but alas, it is my job, so here are Top 10 Trends that made the cut. Enjoy & Happy Holidays 🙂

10. Blue & White

Whether you are having a party, trimming the tree or making a style statement this holiday season, ditch the red and green and go for a saturated, glowing shade of blue, or maybe an ice blue instead. Whatever you decide, blue is an IT color for someone who wants to think outside the traditional box this year. Along side this, white is dominant once again, but with a new holiday twist, hair. Yup, white hair is the ultimate chic mane this season. Understandable if you can’t commit, but lucky for you, wigs are becoming a very accepted and normal style statement in recent years, so go ahead, be daring and have some fun!

9. Floor Length Beading

The more opulent, the better. Gowns on display looked fabulously heavy, with hints of sparkle. Perfect for all those dimly lit holiday parties you will be attending.

Mixing blue and black is very on trend and by the way, skip the contacts. Look dapper with your “re-spectables” this holiday season instead.

This year, these lights were choreographed in a way that has never been done before anywhere else in the world. You gotta see this. It’s beautiful. Happy Holidays -Burg
