When your studio is inside Southtown Arts District Headquarters, you can’t help but learn new things and push new ideas forward. Aside from the many blessing we’ve already received from being housed in here, we were approached to bring our “Fashion Artist of the Year” category from the San Antonio Fashion Awards to life! Of course we said, “YES! Let’s show them off! Let’s do this!”

And so, I am so incredibly excited to announce that this Second Saturday, April 8th, Style Lush TV will host their very first curated art show featuring the fashion-art by one of our favorite local artists, Analy Diego. If you’ve been needing some incredibly fashionable art for your stylish home, you really need to come scoop these pieces up!

I’ve always been drawn to Analy’s work. Not only because she is insanely talented, but also because she always seems to blend the perfect mix of fashion, pop culture and sexiness. Analy is a Texas native and was introduced into the art world at a young age by her grandfather, a skilled caricaturist. She started painting with watercolor and oils at the age of six, and continues doing so to this day. Analy graduated from The University of Texas at San Antonio with a B.S. in Interior Design and Masters in Architecture. While in school, she developed an acute attention to form and space associated with architecture. This refined her visual and analytical skills, thus strengthening her focus on the ties between art and design.

As an Architecture and Design instructor, Analy continues to expand her artistic knowledge through her teaching methods. She draws inspiration from different color theorists and architects, such as Josef Albers, Charles and Ray Eames and Frank Lloyd Wright. However, references to contemporary subjects and current social issues frequently appear in her work. Her art has grown to include a wide variety of styles and mediums, ranging from ink drawings to graphic illustrations.

Analy’s passion is to work on projects which will reflect her strong artistic point of view, and allow people to appreciate common day subjects that are easily overlooked today. Style Lush TV has particularly gravitated towards her art with fashion foundation. Many of her pieces highlight the likes of fashion icons and brands lending themselves to the admiration of us and many of our audience members. Some subject name-drops for this coming Second Saturday include, Valentino, Marilyn Monroe, Gucci, Venus, Chanel and more. Mark your calendars for April 8th, 7pm-10pm, 1906 S. Flores. During this time, online media was in its infancy. She and her colleagues pioneered and molded the online fashion media industry resulting in over 10 years of experience in fashion news and 20 years of experience in fashion video content. Many of the stylized ideas and tools that were launched through these platforms are still used to this day as industry standards for online fashion media. Later, with her extensive experience in developing online fashion media, she continued the show independently and has successfully rebranded THE B-SPOT into Style Lush TV online fashion network. Now, with over nine professional years in online fashion media and trend forecasting, she continues to pioneer, maneuver and develop her industry.
