A stylish affair is on the way and word has it, this is not one to miss! On March 1st, 2018, the San Antonio Food Bank in partnership with Sloan/Hall will be hosting their annual fashion event, Runway, Where Fashion Meets Compassion. The fashion event will feature Fashion Designer Yumi Katsura, a pioneer within the bridal industry who holds her Japanese influence close and showcases her haute couture background through modern collections.
This week we mingled with our fellow fashion community to witness a sneak peek into the world of Yumi Katsura. Taking place at Sloan/Hall, this preview party did not fall short of enticing the senses. With an intricately laced gown presented front and center, to a mesmerizing, volume filled, red Japanese kimono, the presentation of numerous haute couture works assured that attendees put Runway at the top of their must attend event list.
Runway will be a philanthropic and fashion filled Japanese affair showcasing the much anticipated fashion show, pop-up boutiques, bites inspired by Japanese cuisine, sake, and a signature cocktail by the San Antonio Cocktail Conference. Proceeds from this event will support the San Antonio Food Bank with every $1.00 generated providing 7 meals to individuals in need. For tickets to this wonderful event visit Runway and follow the San Antonio Food Bank on social media for updates. Event insiders tell us the collection will be a must see as it will be a rare opportunity to witness the beauty made available during New York and Paris fashion weeks. We’ll see you there, and stayed tuned to Style Lush TV for all the coverage!
