Golden Skyy is at it again! Lots of news coming from this digital couture fashion designer as this year has been a non-stop hustle haul. From the moment January 2018 hit, we have seen the San Antonio designer checking off goal after goal after goal, as we on the receiving end, read press release after press release after press release.

The venture for the determined entrepreneur began when he was crowned Womenswear Designer of the Year at the 2017 San Antonio Fashion Awards in October of last year. Shortly after, he was back in his studio creating new things and setting the tone for the new year. In March he partook in the Fashion Is Art Exhibit as Southtown The Arts District formally recognized Fashion as an artform, shortly after that, we launched the news about his new online boutique, he then, was recruited by FGI San Antonio to be one of the participating artists in the #ModelSanAntonian project, shortly after that, he used Look Local Night as a platform to showcase new pieces and fashion art (all while rumors about opening up a boutique Downtown filled the air) and now, he is finally set to debut a brand new collection that he is calling “Audacious Resort”.

The man is putting in some WORK!

The hustle is very well respected among the community and this show is widely anticipated as it will be showcasing “pieces no one has ever seen before” according to Skyy.

“Audacious Resort” is a womenswear collection that fuses the recognizable themes of resort wear juxtaposed with his signature digital edge. It’s set to combine a thoughtful mix of smart textiles and digital graphics. Silhouettes will include easy feminine shapes with an elevated awareness for haute couture. The collection reflects the designer’s love for genetically modifying a classic idea and embedding his intelligent DNA to birth a new breed, in this case, the “Audacious Resort” Woman.

“This will be culmination of so many things that I have had going on this year.” says Skyy. We look forward to witnessing the climactic point of all the creative energy he has been expending all year. Never a disappointment, this Golden Skyy show will be yet another exemplary example of San Antonio fashion, we have no doubt.
