Event #1: Nina Means (Austin Community College Fashion Incubator): Mentor Official
Friday March 13, 2020 JW Marriot Austin, TX
On Friday March 13, Nina Means, 2020 Director of the Austin Community College Fashion Incubator, will be speaking at the JW Marriot Austin in the Brazos Rm located at 110 E. 2nd St. From 3:30-3:45pm. Nina will mentor entrepreneurs interested in fashion, design, retail, and startups. This is an entry level meetup opportunity for entrepreneurs who are looking to get industry knowledge from Nina. A graduate of FIT in New York, Means worked closely with Rebecca Taylor, who designed for American Eagle Outfitters and H by Halston sold on QVC.

On Saturday March 14, 2020, actress Olivia Munn will be leading an event hosted by WWD NYFW called Style Dimensions at SXSW. This event will have a multitude of talented women such as Mary Lawless Lee, founder of Happily Grey, her blog and e-commerce site features fashion, lifestyle, travel and fitness. Allison McNamara, founder of Mara, an algae-based skin-care line started in 2018, will be another speaker in attendance.
