15 Oct Emerging Local Fashion Designers set to start a 365 Day Fashion and Music Multicultural Event Tour!
In a 365-day fashion show tour, three local creatives are teaming up to host a Fall fashion event with live musical performances. The first show is set here in San Antonio, TX. With the community slowly opening-up and taking the necessary precautions for COVID-19, these enthusiastic artists are finding a way to practice social distance while bringing fashion-loving locals a multicultural experience of retail shopping with pop-ups, entertainment, industry networking, and a fashion show in hopes of igniting the passion and energy of the fashion industry. After several long months of canceled and postponed events, this event will feature ready to shop Fall trends from emerging designers, and local fashion retailers. Be the first to shop these new styles from these artists this month.
Happening Thursday, October 22, 2020, Bad Cat Designs, Jimmy Moon, and Inner-City Clothing19 will be hosting a limited VIP event that will feature a fashion show with local fashion retailers ready for you to shop while listening to local musicians and performances. Together this event will be hosted at Flavors Studio 837 S Laredo St. San Antonio, Tx with COVID-19 compliance in effect. Here are the local creatives teaming together to make this event possible.
Bad Cat Designs
Founded by Robert Rosa Mata, Badcat Designs is an independent sartorial business specializing in textured styles and based in San Antonio. Making it’s breakthrough debut last year with a fashion show featured within San Antonio’s Contemporary Art Month calendar. From graphic t-shirts, hoodies, tote bags, and accessories their signature style has unique eye-catching art with a fun twist. In order to ensure that all safety recommendations provided by city ordinances, capacity will be limited, and pubic face coverings required. Hand sanitization stations will also be available for all attending guests.
Artist Jimmy Moon from Uvalde, Tx who has recently moved from canvas to garments using vivid pops of color in every design. A full-time artist for nine years with experience studying abroad in Italy, his graphic designs are inspired by many cultural and musical experiences from past to present.
