As usual, Style Lush TV advocated for model rights, safe environments, and creating positive change within the modeling industry by offering up a fun and supportive safe-space to try out in. The event also made available a list of trusted modeling agencies to research and potentially approach should fresh faces wish to take their modeling aspirations to the next level. All types were welcomed and encouraged to apply. The casting call resulted in 47 qualified aspiring fresh faces ranging from traditional model stature to plus-sized and petite. 15 diverse participants were selected for the career development program including model training with specific criteria for TEXAS FASHION WEEK™, a possible model makeover should the winner be in need of a look refinement, a before and after mini photoshoot, and a possible chance to walk as a TEXAS FASHION WEEK™ model. Participants are currently being reviewed by the Offical TEXAS FASHION WEEK Glam Squad Leaders and will be contacted soon should they be eligible for their model makeover. Soon after that, training will be hosted as well as further career development support opportunites.

Below are the winners. Congratulations everyone!

This year, for the first time in American fashion industry history, the CFDA will support 10 select regional fashion weeks across America, and the Texas Fashion Industry Initiative has the honor of being the first and founding members of this elite selection. In association with a new program called CFDA Connects, the CFDA will be amplifying all efforts for TEXAS FASHION WEEK™ and TFII programming in order to support the mission and discover new talent from Texas through TFII.

What this means is that all programming in association with the Texas Fashion Industry Initiative now has elite support behind it and top industry eyes on it. It is an exciting time for any fashion professional to be associated with TFII and for all aspiring fashion professionals to consider applying for the Trendsetter Level Membership.
